I tried an allen wrench. The one that fits in the whole doesn’t turn. It just gets stuck. What should I do?
The handle it not tight, that is the problem. I tried an allen wrench after reading Earl’s answer and it didn’t work. The allen wrench gets stuck and the handle doesn’t tighten. What else should I try? Could I need a new screw?

Did you take the plastic decorative cap off of the part that is at the back end of the faucet? Mine uses a screw to tighten down the handle, that is why I am wondering if you are trying to tighten in the right place. There is also a big, white nut ring holding the actual valve down in place, but doubt that is the problem.

Otherwise, yes, something else may be worn in the handle assembly. Go to your local plumbing supply with name, number, etc and ask to see one and ask for advice. Should be simple to repair (rebuild).

It shuld take a allen wrench to tighten.

Sound like it is an O ring and not the handle if the handle is already tight.
